nanowrimo

In November I did a novel writing program called NaNoWriMo(national novel writing month). I picked a goal of 15,000 words. When you pick a goal of words that is how many words you have to write in a month to be a NaNoWriMo winner. I wrote 15,163 words, so I was a NaNoWriMo winner. My story is not done, so it is my new years resolution to write at least one page of my novel every day. If I keep that resolution My novel will probably be done by the end of the year. My story is called "Adventures in a gallexy afar". I will post what I have so far A.S.A.P. I hope you like it.

the adventures of Kathleen McHu, chapter 4

CHAPTER 4

I have decided to travel by night and sleep in hiding by day. Last night I found a large chunk of jade worth at least 20 pennies which will buy at least 10 pieces of fish. I am very happy about that because even after 2 days I am losing food and water fast. I think that I will have to eat and drink less. As soon as I get to a market I will buy more food and water, I will also buy some new clothes because mine are ripping.

I am about to leave. I think that my whole family is asleep which is a good thing because they would make me stay here, but I can't so I have waited for them to be asleep so that I can go without them knowing. I think it is about 12pm and I think I will leave now so I have to write more later. I will probably write more tomorrow.

chapter two

today is the day I leave in search of the snake of wonder. I think I will leave just after dark so no one will see me. I will not bring any ale because we are out. I will just bring three jugs of water. I will write more later.

Today I went with my family to the fair and paid one penny for my fortune. Old maggie-the fortune teller-said I was to go in search of a magical snake. I am deathy afraid of snakes but if I am meant to do it I must. Old maggie also said that I must pack food and drink because there will be little along the way I must also bring money to buy the food along the way. I have decided to leave in two days and I am going to bring two jugs of water and one jug of ale and a sack of pie and fish and some vegetables. I do not know why I am to go on this quest I am just a farmers daughter....

INTRODUCTION


Kathleen McHu was a very interesting young girl at the age of 15. She was in search of a magical snake that could do whatever you wanted it to. These storys are her adventures that she recorded in a diary. She has many interesting incounters that lead her to a great surprise.
